These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Shepherd Events, software operated by Solid Rock Recovery ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

SMS and Messaging Consent

Members who provide a phone number and check the consent checkbox during registration agree to receive recurring text messages from their church (powered by Shepherd Events). Full details about how we collect consent, what types of messages we send, and how to opt out are described in our SMS Messaging Policy.

Subscription and Payment

Access to Shepherd Events is provided on a subscription basis. Subscription pricing, billing frequency, and payment terms will be presented to your organization at the time of subscription. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file for the applicable fees.

We may update pricing with reasonable advance notice. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not issue prorated refunds for partial periods unless required by applicable law.

We do not sell personal information to third parties. A full Privacy Policy describing our data practices will be published at shepherd.events/legal/privacy.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Solid Rock Recovery and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership interest in the Service. You retain ownership of any content you upload (event descriptions, church information, etc.) and grant us a limited license to store and display that content solely to operate the Service.

Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your subscription lapses, or if we discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and payment obligations for amounts already due) will survive termination.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
